Terms & Conditions

Makeup and Hair Products
All makeup and hair products are to be provided by Harleigh Slaughter Creative.

If you have specific makeup you would like used, please bring it along to the trial to ensure that there are no issues and are compatible with other products used.

Hair pieces or accessories are not provided and should be brought to the trial to ensure a perfect fit with the style chosen. We do carry some example hair accessories which can be borrowed on the wedding day, if available, as long as they are posted back. If not posted back, you will receive an invoice for the value of that product.

Please allow 3 hours for the trial, especially if you are having both hair and makeup services. This allows for a consultation, colour matching, preparation and multiple style changes if necessary. Apart from unforeseen circumstances, the stylist who leads the trial will be the same stylist on the wedding day.  We recommend that a trial is booked as soon as possible and to take place 3 to 6 months prior to the wedding. Trial Payment is due no later than the trial date. 

Allergies and Medical Requirements 
When booking, it is your responsibility to advise of any medical issues and allergies that may affect your skin and scalp. 

To secure your booking, a £75 deposit is required via bank transfer, payable within 7 days of your invoice date. All deposits are non-refundable and payment will be deducted from the final invoice. 

Balance Payment 
Balance payments are due in full no later than 21 days (3 weeks) prior to the wedding date. Failure to pay by the due date may result in the loss of reserved services and forfeit of the deposit. Due dates are made clear on the invoice.

Additional Charges 
Travel outside of a 15 mile radius from Harleigh Slaughter Creative base postcode (BN41), incurs a 35p per mile return trip charge. If the total journey is longer than 1 hour each way, Harleigh Slaughter Creative reserves the right to charge an hourly rate or flat travel fee which is outside of the 35p per mile rate.

Parking charges may also apply depending on the location.

For parties where 5 or more services are required it may be necessary to employ an assistant on the day which will incur a £75 charge per assistant.

All additional charges will be discussed prior to booking and will be included in the invoice.

Contact Details
To ensure smooth communication, an email address and telephone number for the lead name is required along with emergency contact details.

Cancellation by Client 
For cancellations made by the client up 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the wedding date, 50% of the total invoice will be due. If cancelled up to 21 days (3 weeks) prior to the wedding date, 100% of the invoice will be due.


Booking adjustments must be made 6 weeks prior to the wedding date. Any reductions in the booking after the 6 weeks deadline will still be charged. Any additions are to be discussed but cannot be promised after this 6 week mark. 


Cancellation by Harleigh Slaughter Creative
If, for some unforeseen circumstance, the services cannot be provided by Harleigh Slaughter Creative, all efforts will be made to secure a replacement provider at the same price. A full and in-depth handover would be arranged to ensure all parties are satisfied with the new arrangements.  In the extremely rare circumstance that a replacement cannot be found, 100% of the invoice will be refunded - this does not include any trial payments.
By using Harleigh Slaughter Creative services you consent to the collection and processing of data and promise that all information provided by you is accurate. You agree that the company may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artists website and social media pages. Please note that terms and conditions and prices are subject to change but once a booking is made your price will be honoured.
